Bulk Carrier Sinks After Collision Off Guangzhou; Two Crew Missing

A Singapore-registered container ship collided with a Chinese-registered bulk carrier in waters off Guangzhou, China, on October 25 at about 8 PM (Singapore time), reports MarineLink.

The bulk carrier sunk, and Chinese authorities are conducting search and rescue operations. Two of the 15 crew members remain missing as of October 26.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) reports that, according to information provided, the container ship remains in stable condition with no injuries reported among its 23 crew members. No pollution has been reported.
