Cabin Encrusted With 700,000 Swarovski Crystals Installed Onboard Cruise Ship

According to an article published in the Logistics MiddleEast, the new stateroom will be installed aboard MSC Bellissima in mid-November, just before she repositions to Dubai for the winter cruise season.

7000 Swarovski crystal-encrusted stateroom

MSC Cruises is introducing the most Dubai cruise cabin ever aboard MSC Bellissima, which will homeport in the Arabian Gulf this coming November, with 700,000 crystals decorating the Swarovski Crystal Stateroom.

Stateroom 16018 will be located in the exclusive MSC Yacht Club and according to Cruise Arabia & Africa will be worth more than AED1-million.

The introduction of the Swarovski Crystal Stateroom builds on the long-time partnership between MSC and Swarovski. The Swarovski Crystal staircases in the atrium’s of MSC’s ships have become one of the line’s most defining features.

Symbol of sophistication

MSC Cruises’ Executive Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago described the collaboration as a symbol of sophistication on board MSC Cruises ships.

Every element has been carefully chosen to add elegant touches and complement the design with 700,000 crystals used to embellish the space, he said.

This includes crystallized furniture, such as the bedside tables, sideboard and coffee table.

Ready for winter cruise season

The new stateroom will be installed aboard MSC Bellissima in mid-November, just before she repositions to Dubai for the winter cruise season.

MSC Bellissima will cruise roundtrip from Dubai on 7-night itineraries in the Arabian Gulf from November until March 2020, when she will reposition to China. The ship is the largest cruise vessel ever to homeport in the city.
