A Cargo ship was attacked at around 1900 UTC Apr 3 in Gulf of Guinea some 305 nm south of Lagos, Nigeria, says an article published in Maritime Bulletin.

Ships tracks in the area point at bulk carrier ARCH GABRIEL (IMO 9714719, dwt 61305, flag Marshall Islands) as most likely attack victim. Ship’s AIS is off since attack time, coordinates coincide with attack coordinates. She was cruising in the area in legs since middle March having Lagos as port of destination. She arrived from Houston. Attacked ship’s ID isn’t yet revealed, awaiting ID confirmation and updates.
