On October 30, a cargo vessel loaded with coal reportedly sunk due to rough seas.

What happened?

The cargo vessel ‘Hongh An 69’ reportedly sunk in the afternoon of October 30, off Cua Lo in the Gulf of Tonkin.

The vessel was loaded with 4.600 tons of coal during the time of sinking and the cause of sinking is blamed on rough sea conditions.

Crew safe:

The 12 crew members onboard the vessel were reportedly safe and were rescued before the vessel capsized.
