Cargo Ship Sinks After Collision

Chinese cargo ship sank after collision with fishing vessel, East China sea Mikhail, reports Maritime Bulletin.

What happened?

Cargo ship SHENG HANG 189 while en route from Nantong (shanghai area) to Fuzhou, collided with fishing vessel ZHEXIANGYUYUN03123 at 1050 Beijing time Sep 21 south of Shanghai, northern Taiwan Strait. 

Crew rescued

6 crew were rescued from SHENG HANG 189 that sank by a nearby vessel. They were directed to SAR by Ningbo Maritime Authority, and later transferred to port, all are safe.
