India Today reports of a collision between two foreign cargo ships 10 miles from Okha in the Dwarka district of Gujarat.
Rescue underway
A team of Coast Guards along with a patrol ship and a helicopter were sent for rescue.
According to the official statement, “Indian Coast Guard Ships/Helicopter deployed for area assessment have reported no oil spill or marine pollution from both the merchant vessels and the area is being constantly monitored for any marine pollution eventually.”
All crew aboard are safe at the moment. Rescue work is underway.
