On September 25, few of the cargo container reportedly slipped and fell into the water while being loaded onto the containership.
What happened?
The containership ‘Allin’ started listing heavily to its port side after it was loaded with a cargo of clipboard plates at the Dikili port in Izmir. The vessel was already loaded with cargo when it started listing.
Cargo falls into water:
During the listing, few cargo containers slipped and fell into the water, which was a small part of the quay.
The noise caused by the cargo crashing onto the jetty caused a brief panic among the coastal wanderers. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the incident.
