According to an article published in Maritime Bulletin, a cargo ship was tossed around in Hatay waterfront due to storm.

What happened?

On January 30, the general cargo ship Mustafa Kemal 1 dragged anchor and drifted ashore at Hatay waterfront, Hatay province, southeast Turkey N of Iskenderun, Mediterranean.

Tossed around

The cargo ship was tossed around in the sea due to a strong storm and it was reported as the cause of the accident. The authorities are currently drafting a plan for salvaging the vessel.
