What happened?
Aggregates carrier MASTRONIKOS contacted the pier while berthing at Heraklion port, Crete, Greece, in the morning Jun 3, on arrival from Tsingeli, Greece.
Damage reported
- Bow of the ship was dented and holed above the waterline.
- Holes or cracks were reported of some 2 centimeters in size.
Inspection and repairs
It was reported that the ship was detained for inspection and repairs. But she left Heraklion bound for Psara Greece the same day in the evening.
