According to an article published in Xinhua Net, China’s maiden autonomous cargo ship has set sail.
What happened?
On December 15, the maiden voyage ceremony of the first domestically developed autonomous cargo ship “Jindouyun 0 hao” was held in Zhuhai.
At 9 am, with the sound of a whistle, the vessel officially set sail and sailed to the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, successfully completing the first cargo delivery of the autonomous cargo ship.
Fully domestic autonomous cargo ship
The “Jindouyun 0 hao” autonomous cargo ship was developed by Yunhang Intelligent. Before the maiden voyage, several remote control and autonomous voyage tests have been completed.
