On Aug. 12,  Carbon Dioxide fumes on board a container ship “Captain Tsarev” killed one and poisoned three others at Brest port, France. The ship was being dismantled when this incident happened.

Reports indicate that the fire fighting system accidentally got switched on releasing CO2 causing the deadly suffocation.

Recyclers Bretons Company was entrusted with dismantling the rusted vessel by the port authorities, ever since she was looted and set on fire in 2014.
