On October 15th, 136 kilos of cocaine were reportedly seized from a cargo ship named ‘Kota Lukis’ docked in Manzanillo port.  The huge amount of Cocaine is said to have originated from a consignment sent from Columbia.

The consignment was placed in a container supposedly carrying only electric showers.  The cargo was arranged inside three suitcases that came from Buenaventura Colombia and it was to be delivered to Mexico.

The vessel and crew apparently were declared innocent by the harbor police and weren’t classified as suspects.  The consignment was seized by the harbor police and further investigation by Federal Investigation Agency is underway.  The vessel left Manzanillo port on October 16th after clearing the cocaine container.
