A Containership has reportedly run aground after hitting a reef.
What happened?
The Containership “Kea Trader” travelling at a speed of 35 kmph hit the 200 metre long Durand Reef which is present in the Southeast of the island of Mare.
None injured:
Fortunately, the 18 crew members onboard the ship were not injured during the grounding.
No oil spill was reported by the authorities since the ship is enforced with double hull.
