The reports state that the vessel faced rudder problems and drifted off course. Since the vessel could not refloat on its own power, the Canada’s Transportation Safety Board dispatched a crew to the spot.
Fortunately, the vessel did not suffer any breach on its hull. There were no reports of pollution or casualties and the incident was not a hindrance to the traffic.
