What happened?
An Indian seafarer on board a container ship MAERSK ATLANTIC was reported to suffer from fever, sore throat.
The ship was ordered to anchor on Haiphong outer anchorage, Vietnam, on Feb 7, on arrival from China, where she called 4 ports in Feb 2-6 period, including ports of Yantian, Shantou, Xiamen, Hong Kong.
As the sailor’s virus test result was negative, the ship was cleared to proceed to Haiphong in the morning Feb 11, she has been berthed by 1000 LT Feb 11.
