According to Sea-Intelligence, Maersk ranks as the 2nd most reliable carrier as of July 2023, with a schedule reliability of 69.8%.
Preparing for Golden Week
As we approach the Chinese National Day holiday (Sept. 29th – Oct. 6th), commonly known as Golden Week, please be aware of expected changes in container shipping demand to and from Asia. Factory closures and reduced production during this period lead to decreased capacity. Shipping companies, including Maersk, have announced blank sailings, potentially affecting departure dates, arrival dates, and transit times.
