Container ship Stadt Dresden collided with general cargo ship Ibrahim Simsek at around 0240 UTC Mar 10 in eastern Marmara sea off Senkoy, Turkey, writes Stepan Kotcherga for Maritime Bulletin.

Damages to the vessels

The accident occurred while both the ships were under way and proceeding in opposite directions. Both ships sustained seemingly, serious damages, both were anchored near collision site. Ibrahim Simsek lost her stb anchor.

Stadt Dresden is en route from Rodaport Turkey to Evyap Turkey, Ibrahim Simsek is en route from Evyap to Aliaga, Turkey.
