Container Vessels Resume Course After Engine Mishap

Following engine failures on both the MSC Ariane and Maersk Eureka the two vessels are back in service, reports the Container News.

The Maersk Eureka has already been repaired and is now berthed in the Port of Long Beach, while MSC Ariane is expected to leave Japan after taking on fuel.

MSC Ariane, which operates on the 2M Alliance’s TP6/Pearl service suffered an engine failure from what was described as a “poor fuel quality.”
