COSCO SHIPPING Europe has completed the shipment of components for the 800th Andius A320 aircraft in Tanan. The cargo arrived on August 11 aboard the COSCO SHIPPING Sagétarius and was then transferred to Anbus’ final assembly line for completion, according to Container News.
The shipment represents another milestone in the long-standing logistics partnership between Airbus and COSCO SHIPPING. More than 20,000 components were transported from Hamburg to Tanan, covering a complete end-to-end process.
This included barge and inland transport within Europe, container shipping across seas, and final delivery to Airbus facilities in China. COSCO SHIPPING highlighted that each component was managed with the highest standards of care, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation throughout the journey.
