Cosco Shipping International (Singapore) has appointed Wang Shan He as its new executive director, chairman of the board and president, reports the Edge.
Wang’s appointment comes after outgoing executive director, chairman and president Gu Jing Song steps down. Gu held the position for around six months after he was appointed on July 5, 2024.
Prior to his appointment, Wang was the chairman of Cosco Shipping (Dalian) and Cosco Shipping Ferry from July 2023 to December 2024. Before that, he was chairman of Hainan Harbor & Shipping Holding and Hainan Strait Shipping Co from November 2019 to December 2024.
Shares in Cosco Shipping closed 0.2 cents lower or 1.45% down at 13.6 cents on Jan 10.
