COVID-19 Positive Test For Fauci

On Wednesday, White House Chief Medical Officer Anthony Fauci, MD, tested positive for COVID-19 as reported by WebMD.

According to the NIAID, Fauci, who is also the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, tested positive for COVID-19 on a fast antigen test.

Fauci, who has had his second booster dosage and is fully vaccinated, is having minimal symptoms and will remain at home. According to the statement, the 81-year-old has not had recent contact with President Joe Biden or other top government officials.

According to the statement, “Dr Fauci will follow the COVID-19 guidelines of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as medical advice from his physician, and will return to the NIH when he tests negative.”
