Remain vigilant

To fight COVID-19, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) urges the shipping community – 

  • to take precautionary measures, 
  • to remain vigilant and 
  • adopt good hygiene practices at all times.

Relief measures for the sector

The Singapore Government has put in place various relief measures for the maritime sector.

The Solidarity Budget presented on 6 April 2020 complements measures introduced under:

  1. Budget 2020 on 18 February 2020 and
  2. the subsequent supplementary Resilience Budget on 26 March 2020. 

It aims to address the rapidly evolving COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on Singapore’s economy and society.
