According to a Ship Technology report, Royal Caribbean International’s first Quantum Ultra-Class ship Odyssey of the Seas is set to debut in Florida, US, next year.

Royal Caribbean’s Odyssey of the Seas is being built at Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. The first steel was cut this February.
Weighing more than 168,000 gross tonnes, the vessel can accommodate over 4,200 passengers.
Cruise features
- This is the cruise line’s 27th ship that will arrive at the Fort Lauderdale homeport in Florida.
- It will offer six and eight night-long Caribbean cruises.
- The ship will then proceed with its Europe tour in 2021.
Eight-night trip
As a part of its eight-night trip, the Royal Caribbean International cruise will stop at Curacao and Aruba. It will be the first Quantum Ultra-Class ship to visit these locations.
With these island additions, customers can visit the Arikok National Park in Aruba and explore the streets of Willemstad in Curacao.
Six-night journey
As a part of its six-night journey, Odyssey of the Seas will stop at Cozumel, Mexico, where the tourists can deep-dive, swim with the sea turtles and participate in other activities.
Passenger can take part in a 450ft helium balloon experience at Caribbean’s biggest freshwater pool Up, Up & Away at Oasis Lagoon and visit the beaches at the Bahamas.
Odyssey’s ‘Only on Royal’ feature offers the glass observation capsule North Star that can carry visitors up to 300ft above the waters. It also includes a sky-diving activity iFLY’s RipCord, different culinary offerings and Two70 entertainment venue.
