An MSC cruise ship reportedly struck a dock before it ran aground on the Caribbean island of Roatán off the coast Honduras.
What happened?
The entire collision which was caught on video, shows the MSC cruise ship ‘Armonia’ crashing into a dock and coming to a halt as onlookers expressed their shock.
The reason for the vessel crashing into the dock remains unknown and an investigation has been launched into the incident.
Vessel damaged
Both the vessel and the dock suffered damages during the collision incident and the vessel is currently docked at the port for further survey.
Fortunately, none of the passengers or crew members were injured during the incident and no pollution to the environment was reported.
