CSL has expanded its European operations with the deployment of its newest vessel, MV CSL Flexvik. The hybrid self-loading and unloading ship, with a deadweight of 18,003 tons, is designed to handle diverse cargo ranging from sand and gravel to heavy armour rock. According to The CSL Group Inc, the vessel will play a key role in supporting marine construction and aggregate logistics across the region.

Delivered on May 31, 2025, from Wulkan Shipyard in Szczecin, Poland, MV CSL Flexvik is a converted bulk carrier redesigned to provide cost-efficient and versatile transport solutions for infrastructure and offshore energy projects. The vessel is equipped with two gantry-mounted Sennebogen 870 electric excavators, enabling precise self-loading and unloading. Its conveyor system features a 45-meter discharge boom, which allows direct discharge to stockpiles, transshipment to other vessels, or over-side operations.

Additionally, the onboard excavators enable efficient handling of large rock gradings and direct placement when required. With this hybrid setup, the vessel significantly reduces port time and operational costs while enhancing flexibility for project-based and industrial clients.
