About the contract
Guangxi Beibu Gulf Shipbuilding and Offshore, a subsidiary of CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding and Offshore Engineering, has won the design contract for 10 5,000DWT LNG-powered multi-purpose cargo ships and 10 59.6m LNG-powered cement tankers from Guangxi Jinxiang Shipping, a subsidiary of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group.
After being informed that CSSC Guangxi was developing and designing cement tankers, Jinxiang took the initiative to add design contracts for 10 59.6m LNG-powered cement tankers.
Tankers for cement transportation
CSSC Guangxi has developed a series of cement tankers with a weight of 1000-3000 dwt, suitable for different navigation areas and different water temperatures. The main scale of the vessels is 59.6 meters, the width of the vessels is 10.8 meters, the speed is 18Km/h, and the capacity of 2 cement tanks (about 1,400 dwt).
