Damen Shipyards has announced the delivery timeline for three new versatile workboats: a 27-metre Multi Cat 2712, a 33-metre Multi Cat 3313 SD, and a 27-metre Shoalbuster 2711. The vessels, set to be delivered between November 2025 and February 2026, are designed for diverse support activities in dredging, offshore installations, and maintenance.
Multi Cat and Shoalbuster Capabilities
The Multi Cat and Shoalbuster vessels are equipped for a wide range of tasks including anchor handling, buoy handling, dredging support, and towing. The Shoalbuster 2711, with 41-tonnes bollard pull and a shallow 3.0-metre draft, is ideal for offshore and shallow water operations. Meanwhile, the Multi Cat 3313 SD, designed for ultra-shallow waters with a 2.2-metre draft, offers 200 m² of deck space for handling equipment.
Customization and After-Sales Support
Damen allows customers to choose from various options to customize their vessels to meet specific needs. Additionally, the Damen Service Hub provides comprehensive after-sales services, including crew training and maintenance support in the region.
