The U.S. Coast Guard is investigating a death aboard a tanker moored off the coast of Richmond, the agency said Monday.
Richmond Fire Department and Coast Guard personnel recovered a body after the death was reported aboard the tanker Argent Sunrise at 7:24 p.m. Sunday, officials said. The ship was docked at the ConocoPhillips terminal at Canal Blvd.
Authorities revealed Monday afternoon that the person is a man in his 30s, but they did not identify him immediately.
