The secondhand VLCC was built at Hyundai Heavy Industries in South Korea.

The vessel is equipped with a scrubber, and DHT stated that it will increase fleet efficiency such as the Annual Efficiency Ratio (AER) and Energy Efficiency Operational Index (EEOI).

The devil is always in the details, and this is a sister vessel to one we built in 2018, a design with high deadweight and premium earning possibilities that fit well into the trading patterns of our important customers.

Svein Moxnes Harfjeld, President and CEO of DHT, stated, “We are constantly hunting high and low for opportunities that can bring value to our shareholders.”
