Disabled Cargo Ship Is Being Towed Off The Coast

General cargo ship ANGON was disabled shortly after leaving Aveiro, Portugal, at around 1000 UTC Dec 24, cause unknown. Tug EEMS WRESTLER (IMO 8843549) was contracted, to tow ANGON to Villagarcia, northwest Spain, with ETA Dec 25. Understood Villagarcia is initially, port of destination as reported by Maritime Bulletin.

Ship disabled

At roughly 1000 UTC on December 24, the general cargo ship ANGON was disabled shortly after leaving Aveiro, Portugal, for an unknown reason. With an ETA of December 25, the tug EEMS WRESTLER (IMO 8843549) was chartered to tow ANGON to Villagarcia, northwest Spain. Villagarcia is initially thought to be a destination port.
