Disabled Container Ship Adrift at Sea, Towed To Safety

According to an article published in Maritime Bulletin, a container ship suffered an engine failure and ran adrift.

What happened?

On April 17, the container ship Vega Zeta suffered engine failure in Alboran sea, while en route from Algiers to Valencia.

Vessel adrift

The vessel was adrift until morning April 18, and the crew members were trying to fix the problem.

In the morning April 18, it was taken on tow by Spanish SAR tug Luz De Mar and is currently placed under anchor.
