DOF Group ASA Secures Two Subsea Construction Contracts In The Gulf Of Mexico

23

DOF Group ASA (DOF) has announced the award of two subsea construction contracts for projects with two international oil companies operating in the Gulf of Mexico.

Key Highlights

  • The Skandi Implementer, which recently left Mexico following a contract termination due to payment default, will be redeployed for these projects.
  • The total project duration is expected to be approximately two months.
  • The vessel will undergo survey service integration and the installation of two DOF ROVs (Remotely Operated Vehicles) in late February before mobilization.

Strategic Expansion in the Subsea Sector

DOF CEO Mons Aase highlighted the rapid redeployment of Skandi Implementer as a key achievement, ensuring fleet utilization and project backlog growth. The contract also aligns with DOF’s strategy to integrate subsea service scopes into its newly acquired I-class vessels through the DOF Denmark transaction.

These contract awards further strengthen DOF’s presence in the Gulf of Mexico, reinforcing its commitment to subsea project services and offshore operations.
