- On August 18, China Shipbuilding Trading and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry delivered another 115,000DWT crude/product tanker “MAERSK SIMONE” to Maersk Tankers.
- The ship is the sixth ship of Maersk’s 115,000DWT crude/product tankers undertaken by DSIC.
- This series of ships is a new generation crude/product tanker independently designed and built by DSIC, with excellent fuel-saving performance and cargo carrying performance.
A Xinde Marine News states that DSIC delivers the sixth 115,000DWT tanker to Maersk Tankers.
Details of the tanker delivery
“MAERSK SIMONE” has a total length of 250.0 meters, a molded width of 44.0 meters, a molded depth of 21.9 meters, and a deadweight of 115,000DWT.
The ship has a good matching design of ship, engine and propeller, equipped with FRAMO deep well pump, and equipped with energy-saving guide wheels, which fully improves the efficiency of the propulsion system.
