More than 200 billion emails are sent across the planet every day, and the primary concern of every user is how safe it is.

Is it possible to have a secure e-mail?

Earlier attempts reaped only limited success.

Now, a NewYork based company Confidential CC has created an Android and iOS app to keep e-mails private.

It features e-mails that destroy themselves once viewed.  Encrypted emails can be seen only once.  They cannot be forwarded or printed.

Rachel Tigges,  co-founder gave the BBC’s Richard Taylora demo of the service.
