Empowering Women in Marine Trades

Lisa Esposito grew up sailing and developed a passion for working on sailboats. After teaching and sailing jobs, she enrolled in the Marine Systems Program at IYRS School of Technology & Trades. She excelled in marine electric and electronics and became a marine electronics technician. She eventually became an instructor at IYRS and now serves as the Dean of Education. Esposito encourages other women to pursue careers in marine services and advises them to find mentors and support. She finds the work in the marine industry rewarding and fulfilling.
