About the incident
Container ship ASTRID L encountered an engine cooling issue in the Ionian Sea in the afternoon of Sept 12 and had to anchor in Greek waters north of Corfu, to rectify the cooling system. As of 1330 UTC Sep 13, she remained in the same position. The ship is en route from Haifa Israel to Koper Slovenia, ETA Sep 14.
