Rotterdam Ahoy is staging four important maritime exhibitions over the next 18 months.

From 7 – 10 November next year, the eyes of the maritime world will be on Rotterdam as Europort 2017 takes place.  This event is well established as one of the world’s leading international maritime meeting places for those interested in innovative technology and complex shipbuilding.  Europort 2017 will have a strong focus on special purpose ships including offshore, dredging, construction, naval, and inland vessels, as well as workboats and super yachts.  Europort 2017 is expected to attract around 30,000 professional visitors and 1,100 exhibiting companies.

Three other specialist events, targeted at fast growing regional markets, are also in the calendar for 2017/8.  Europort Turkey takes place from 5 – 8 April 2017 in Tuzla, just outside Istanbul, close to the country’s main shipbuilding area.  Building on over a decade of experience in bringing together the Turkish and international shipbuilding industries, Ahoy has chosen an exciting new location for Europort Turkey this time around, at the Viaport Marina in Tuzla.

IRANIMEX2017, powered by Europort will take place on Kish Island, Iran, between 12-14 December 2017.  This follows the hugely successful first staging of IRANIMEX in October 2016, which hosted 300 exhibitors from 22 different countries.  As such it is already the biggest maritime exhibition in the Middle East Gulf, reflecting the huge growth potential that exists in Iran, now that sanctions have been lifted.  IRANIMEX2017 will provide a second chance to make contact with the Iranian maritime and offshore sectors at a time when significant investment programs are gathering momentum.

Ahoy has also announced that Europort Romania will be held in Constanta, Romania, on 15-17 May 2018.  From 10-12 May 2016, the 11th edition of Europort Romania took place in the IDU Hall in Constanta, when a record number of 63 maritime equipment suppliers met with over 500 maritime professionals, from Romania as well as from other Black Sea countries.  This is a niche, exclusive local networking event that caters specifically for companies active in this regional market.

These events will be highly relevant and attractive to many companies and professionals engaged in the shipping, shipbuilding and ship technology sectors.  Rotterdam Ahoy would be grateful if you could publicise these events in your exhibition and conference calendar sections.
