The order is split equally between China’s Guangzhou Shipyard International and South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries, with deliveries expected between 2028 and 2030, according to data from shipping brokers.
Each vessel, priced at approximately $200 million, will feature dual-fuel technology capable of operating on LNG and conventional marine fuel, aligning with Evergreen’s long-term strategy to reduce emissions and enhance fleet efficiency.
