Faulty Horn on Ship at Shoreham Port Keeps Residents Awake

Early Friday morning, the residents living around Shoreham Port got a rude awaking due to a faulty horn.

The problem was first reported at 11.30 p.m. on Friday.

What happened?

It has been reported that the problem occurred when the ship faced an intermittent problem with its equipment and could not pinpoint the problem.  Then the problem was reportedly fixed and the port authorities have apologised for the problem caused.

A spokeswoman for Shoreham Port said: “We apologise for the severe noise disturbance over the weekend.”

“A ship had an intermittent problem with its equipment and could not locate the problem. We have been advised that they have now fixed the fault.”
