The ship was earlier arrested by Transport Prosecutor’s Office of the Primorsky Territory because of the debt to the crew.  According to media reports, 16 claims total $274,290.

Press center of the Primorsky Territory office of Russia’ Emergency Ministry reported to have told that they had no information about the ship fire.  Marine Rescue Service of Rosmorrechflot says that rescue ships are ready to fight the fire though no order has yet came from the Harbour Master.
