Fire erupted on board a Chinese tanker on Feb 6th in the Persian Gulf, when the ship was en route from Sohar Oman to Dayer Iran, reports Maritime Bulletin.
Fire extinguished
Iranian SAR ship responded, arriving at the scene in the afternoon Feb 6. Fire is reportedly extinguished.
According to Iranian sources, all the 17 crew onboard were evacuated safely. Tanker AIS is off during the last 16 hours, she was adrift according to her latest positions.
