The cargo ship was en route from Rizhao, China to Masan, Korea when it stuck with fire off Lianyungang.
The ship issued a distress call for which the Lianyungang Maritime Safety Department started a rescue operation. Also, a nearby cargo vessel assisted the team in the rescue operation.
The crew sealed the cabin on fire with an intention to contain the fire, and it was put on. All the crew members were evacuated safely by the rescue team.
