Fire erupted in a container, on board of multipurpose cargo ship FWN SPLENDIDE, berthed at Izmir Turkey, in the afternoon Aug 1.
Any damage reported?
Fire was extinguished by firefighter engines in about an hour and reported that it didn’t spread further. The number of damaged containers remains unknown. As of 0730 UTC Aug 2, the ship remained berthed at Izmir.
