The general cargo ship started its voyage from Ivory Coast when the deadly food poisoning broke out. The Chief and third officer of the vessel died while 13 others were medevacked to a hospital in Abidjan when it docked at San Pedro port in Ivory Coast. Poland’s Euroafrica Shipping Lines owns the ship.
The vessel will continue its voyage with the replacement crew.
