Fratelli Cosulich Methanol, Biofuel Bunker Barge En Route To Singapore


  • Fratelli Cosulich has taken delivery of a chemical tanker that can deliver methanol and biofuel blends up to B100 to ships in Singapore.
  • The vessel will deliver methanol and biofuel blends up to B100 (100% biofuel), including the most common B24 and B30 biofuel blend ratios.

Marine fuel supplier and trading firm Fratelli Cosulich is adding a ship capable of carrying both biofuels and methanol to its bunker delivery fleet in Singapore, reports Engine.

The firm has taken delivery of the IMO Type II chemical bunker tanker Marta Cosulich, and the vessel is on its way to Singapore, the company said in a statement on its website.

The ship will be able to carry both methanol and biofuel blends with up to 100% biofuel content.
