General cargo ship suffered engine failure near First Bridge, Bosphorus, Istanbul, while transiting the Straits in the southern direction, en route from Nikolayev Ukraine to Hekere Gulf of Izmit, with cargo of steel.
Ship under control
The ship was taken under control by two Traffic Control tugs, and towed to Ahirkapia Anchorage, Istanbul, Marmara sea. As of 0730 UTC Apr 27, the ship remained at anchor.
