On Nov 24, a General cargo vessel Fukuyoshi Maru No.1 ran onto breakwater while approaching Taketoyo Port, South of Nagoya, Honshu Island, Japan.
The vessel was en route from Osaka with cargo of coal when the incident happened. Later the vessel was taken off breakwater and docked at Taketoyo for further investigation and repairs.
Reports say that breakwater and freighter sustained damages. Preliminary investigations suggest that navigational errors could be the cause of collision. More reports awaited.
