Fujairah Fuel Oil Stocks Dip To 15-Week Low

According to the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone, fuel oil stocks drop to 15-week low, reports Ship & Bunker.

Lowest since April

Heavy distillate and residue inventories at the port dropped by 2.7% to 13.795 million barrels in the week to Monday, Platts reported Wednesday, the lowest level since April 27.

The category includes both high- and low-sulfur bunker fuels, as well as fuel oil used in industry and for power generation.

VLSFO prices

Very low sulfur fuel oil prices at Fujairah were little changed over the week to Monday, losing $4.50/mt to $344/mt. 

Prices have not moved much since hitting a four-month high of $351.50/mt on July 23.
