On September 19, 2024, Fujian Shipping Group successfully signed a contract with Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment Co., Ltd. for the construction of two 82,000-ton dual-fuel bulk carriers, with an option for two additional vessels. Focus on Methanol Dual-Fuel Technology and Sustainability
The new vessels will feature advanced methanol dual-fuel technology, optimized hull designs, and upgraded main engines.
