LNG shipper GasLog welcomes its Cheniere-chartered LNG newbuild GasLog Wellington, arriving from Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard, the company informed through its twitter page.
About the vessel
GasLog Wellington is a 180,000 cubic metres XDF LNG carrier.
This is the third of four vessels being delivered from South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) to Greece-based LNG shipper GasLog, which will go on long-term charter to U.S. exporter Cheniere.

Chartered for Cheniere
The LNG carriers are chartered to Cheniere for a firm period of seven years.
GasLog Wellington features X-DF low-pressure, two-stroke main engines, and GTT Mark III Flex Plus cargo containment systems.
